Thought of the day; let’s examine 'Waiting for Superman'

There are major forums all over America, from the Oprah Winfrey show to church basements about America’s malfunctioning public education system. My questions are; when did this become a matter of urgency? Who allowed this system of learning to continue to decay without noticing the putrefying influence and why must we look towards a make believe super hero as the savior in a system that with all his super power ability, he couldn't effect the outcome needed to really address the American public education system. 'Waiting for Superman' is a documentary about America’s malfunctioning education system. The American public school system is in crisis, failing millions of students, producing as many drop-outs as graduates, and threatening our economic future.
